Dr. Vaughn answered the call to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ in 1974 and was ordained in the Baptist Church in 1980. Since that time she has become a highly respected and sought after international conference speaker, mentor and prophetic voice to the Body of Christ.

She received the Doctorate Degree of Theology and Practical Ministry in November 1991, conferred by Christ for the Nations Institute and Oral Roberts University.

She has served as Senior Pastor of the Holy Ghost Full Gospel Baptist Church in Detroit since 1986. She and her husband Dr. Gilbert Vaughn, are advocates of community development, having moved into the parish of their church in the urban community with their family and members of the congregation, joining the efforts of the church, community and schools for redemption of the total man. In December or 2003, Bishop & Dr. Vaughn relocated to Edenton, North Carolina.

Dr. Vaughn is founder and overseer of an international apostolic network called Go Tell It Ministry Worldwide Network of Churches, which has the responsibility of evangelism, missions, church planting, and leadership training. This ministry currently sews over sixty churches in the USA.

Dr. Vaughn is the founder and president of Kingdom and Faith Bible College and School of Ministry, a four-year accredited school raised up for the equipping and training of leadership gifts for the work of the ministry.

Dr. Vaughn was consecrated Bishop, November 5, 1995 in Benin City, Nigeria and now serves as Prelate with the international Communion of Charismatic Churches, College of Bishops, and the Church of God Missions International.

Dr. Vaughn is a pioneer of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and is among the great company of apostles and prophets sounding the alarm of restoration, calling for redemption, holiness, and Holy Ghost demonstration of power to the 21st century church.
