The last date to sign up online to volunteer to help out with Race for the Cure is this Friday, May 9th. For more information and to register as a volunteer, visit www.komennctriangle.org. If you do not want to pay the $15 for your child to walk with the Team ~ you can register them online to be a volunteer. For example, handing our water to the participants, passing out t-shirts, etc.

If you know of any FPT MEMBERS that will be graduating from high school in June please submit those names to Minister Barry Squires by May 10. We will honor the graduates on Sunday June 8. If you know of any youth that belongs to FPT and will be leaving kindergarten and going to first grade, Please submit those names to Minister Barry Squires or Sister Regina Willis by May 10.

The IMAGE meeting for May will be held at the church Saturday, May 10th from 11a.m. - 1p.m. Please provide your girls with aprons or with an outfit they can get a little messy, as they will be making their own desserts! We are asking that each girl please bring $1 each for this activity. Please don't delay in replying to the e-vite, as your response for the young ladies is needed! If you did not receive an e-vite, please see Cheryl Collins.

We will not have two services on Mother’s Day, Sunday May 11, 2008. Service will begin at 10:00am. Pease make a note of this change on your calendars.

Let's thank God for another "Promise Fulfilled".  Come celebrate with a shower for Baby Pair on Saturday, May 17 at 12:00.  This celebration will take place at Top Greene Community Center.  Mom is registered at Babies R Us and Target.  Please RSVP no later than May 9th. There will be a men’s meeting after the 9:00 and 11:15 worship service on Sunday, May 25th. All men are expected to attend one of the meetings.

The last date to sign up online to join our FPT Race for the Cure Team is Tuesday, May 27th. The cost is $25 to sign up online. After the 27th, the cost is $30 for paper registration. For more information and to register for the team, visit fulfilledpromise.org.

Fulfilled Promise Tabernacle, in conjunction with the Susan G. Komen Foundation and Rex~UNC Health Care, presents the 2008 Health & Community Awareness Fair! This informative event will be held at the church from 9:00am to 2:00pm on Saturday, May 31st. In addition to various health care screenings and information from local community outreach groups, there will also be activities and games for the children. Please come out as we strive to promote healthy living and fun!

It is time to REGISTER to walk (or run) with the FPT Team for the Susan G. Koman - Race for the Cure against Breast Cancer! This year, our Pastors would like for our WHOLE church to be involved in this FANTASTIC EVENT! Yes that means, men, women, and children! You can now register on-line at www.fulfilledpromise.org. This event will be held on Saturday, June the 14th at Meredith College. Please save this date! You can direct your friends, co-workers, and family to our website to join our team as well! The Go Tell It School of Wisdom will soon be upon us. The event will be held in St. Petersburg, Florida from July 1-4, 2008. All are welcome to come, especially leaders. There is a $150 registration fee for adults and $75 for ages 17 and under. FPT has some funds available to offset registration, but only for a limited number of people.  If anyone is interested in attending, please speak to Pastor Stepney.

Vacation Bible School 2008 will be held July 16th – July 18th, and we need your help! There will be a planning committee meeting in the sanctuary on Tuesday, May 20th at 7:00pm. We need people to help with the following areas: teaching, dinner, decorating, and much more. Therefore, please come out to lend a hand to make this event a success! If you have any questions please see Sister Cynthia or Minister Barry.

FPT’s Men’s Retreat will be held in Emerald Isle, NC from October 16-19, 2008. Any men interested in attending please sign up in the vestibule. The cost is $150.

FPT's Community Service Committee is interested in providing the following services for the Bledsoe Community: Girl Scouts, AA Group, and GED Training. If you would like to help with all or any of these programs, please see Pastor Sandra Stepney for additional information. We are in great need of your services to make these programs successful
