Fulfilled Promise Tabernacle was birthed in January 2000, from a campus ministry, United Student Fellowship (USF), in obedience to God to reach the harvest of souls in the city of Raleigh, North Carolina, and even the Nations. Along with the increasing needs of the alumni of the university and campus ministry, as well as the needs of the communities, a church was birthed.

Fulfilled Promise Tabernacle, affectionately called FPT, held its first Worship Service at the Hillsborough Street YMCA, Raleigh, North Carolina on Sunday, January 23, 2000 at 6:00 p.m. The Bread of Life, entitled "A United Front," was powerfully delivered by Senior Pastor Reginald Stepney. The church's name at that time, Faith Pentecostal Tabernacle, was changed so as to be more inclusive of the harvest of souls to be reached. The name was officially change on February 4, 2000. Fulfilled Promise Tabernacle is a church "Where God's Promises Are Fulfilled!"

Fulfilled Promise Tabernacle continued to hold evening services at the Hillsborough Street YMCA through April 16, 2000. Our first 11:00 a.m. Worship Service was held on Easter Sunday, April 23, 2000. How befitting, that as we commemorated our Savior's glorification, FPT also celebrated its change in status. While we continued to hold our Sunday Worship Services at 11:00 a.m., our bible studies were held jointly with the campus ministry until the end of April 2000. On Wednesday, May 2, 2000, FPT held its first bible study at the Hillsborough Street YMCA.

Fulfilled Promise Tabernacle relocated its Sunday Worship Services and Wednesday bible study to the Garner Road YMCA on June 25, 2000. These Services continued at the Garner Road YMCA until the purchase of a church building (320 Bledsoe Avenue, Raleigh North Carolina) on July 31, 2001. The first service held in our new facility was on August 26, 2001.

The Lord has enabled Fulfilled Promise Tabernacle to reach and instruct "the harvest" through church services, community outreach programs, and the various ministries. Our focus is to evangelize this great gospel to those who need it most, the lost.

We have experienced the power of God at Fulfilled Promise Tabernacle in many ways. God has added to the church, provided spiritual and physical healings and miracles, powerfully instructed us in His word, and continues to make provisions for this church. We applaud the work of our God in establishing this church in every aspect. We endeavor to reach the city of Raleigh and even the Nations with the gospel of God's original plan for all people as found in Genesis 1 and 2.

The success of the ministry here at Fulfilled Promise Tabernacle is an example of what will happen when God is put first.
