Pastor Reginald Stepney, a native of New York City, New York, was licensed to minister the gospel on June 21, 1981 by Pastor Rosa Lilly of Lilly's Chapel Church in New York City. Pastor Stepney served as a minister in the United Student Fellowship Campus Ministry at North Carolina State University assisting Dr. Shelton Murphy from 1981 to 1992. Pastor Stepney was ordained as an Elder in 1992 by Pastor Willie Vaughn of Emmanuel Pentecostal Church in Hertford, North Carolina. Pastor Stepney served as Pastor of the United Student Fellowship from 1993 until 2000, when he was commissioned to begin a local church in Raleigh, North Carolina. The local church was birthed from the campus ministry in obedience to God to reach the harvest of souls in the City of Raleigh, and even the Nations. We began our first church services in January 2000. Pastor Stepney was officially installed as the Senior Pastor of Fulfilled Promise Tabernacle in 2000 by Bishop Corletta Vaughn, Prelate of the Go Tell It Ministry Worldwide Network of Churches. Fulfilled Promise Tabernacle is located at 320 Bledsoe Avenue in the "inner city" of Raleigh, North Carolina. Pastor Stepney was ordained as District Presbyter of Go Tell It Ministry Network of Churches in 2005.
Pastor Reginald Stepney is a graduate of North Carolina State University and Duke Divinity School, with a degree in Zoology and a Masters of Divinity, respectively. Pastor Stepney taught high school science classes in the Durham Public School system from 1987 70 1994. Pastor Stepney served as a Spiritual Formation Leader and Instructor for Seminarian students at Duke Divinity School from 2003 to 2007. Pastor Stepney currently serves as District Presbyter over the southern states dioceses under Go Tell It Ministry Worldwide Network of Churches, and serves as Dean of Education for the Network. Pastor Stepney is a former member of the Board of Directors for StepUP Ministry, a transitional ministry assisting the community. Pastor Stepney is the president of the Board of Directors of Fulfilled Promise Tabernacle and president of Reality Promised, a non-profit subsidiary of Fulfilled Promised Tabernacle. Pastor Stepney teaches high school science in the Wake County Public School System.
Pastor Stepney is the younger of two sons born to the late William McKinley Stepney and Mary Stepney of Hertford, North Carolina. Pastor Stepney is happily married to the former
Sandra Atkins Stepney, who shares with him in the ministry of Fulfilled Promise Tabernacle. Mr. & Mrs. Stepney are the best of friends and have been married for over 28 years. They are the proud parents of two daughters, Krista, a 2010 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and Regina Stepney, a student at North Carolina State University, her parents’ alma mater. Pastors Stepney have a host of spiritual sons and daughters.
Most importantly, Pastor Stepney is devoted to his commitment to Christ and to the Pastorate. Pastor Stepney is indeed a pastor after the heart of God and concerned for all people.
